Meant to post up early today but had to pick the boy child up early from pre-K. 101 fever. He's fine, doped up in bed now. If I get sick because of that petri dish of a school, I swear to god. So I'm in the studio ready to color some robots by 10, not bad.
Met with my old friend and web designer Jeff of Polite Web design. It was nice enough outside that we could sit on his deck with our lap tops, that was nice. We always end up shooting the shit and drinking more than working but I wouldn't have it any other way. I was drinking some cheap vodka (which I paid for this morning) that I bought because It howled at me from the liquor store shelve, literally. It had a sensor or something in the display so when you walked by it sounded like a wolf howl. It had a wolf on the bottle and was called Christoff or something. I just called it "10 bucks a fifth". So we discussed race relations, website, how Starbucks over roasts their beans, e-commerce, how a scared country is obedient country, changing the button configuration on the front page, how his favorite band sucks, Google plus, Farrah having anal cancer, you know the usual stuff. All in all a pretty good meeting. Didn't get home till damn near midnight. Look for some pretty cool changes to the front page of www.jagiii.com soon. Also there will be updated info about upcoming shows complete with maps up by Monday. I have a show in Milwaukee next week (Fri) and Chicago (Sun). Very exciting! Hope some of you can make one. So as you see I have a full plate. I have a half a bottle of cheap vodka and a lot of robots to draw. I better get the hell on it. Post ya later.
Nice blog. Fremont, Ballard and Greenwood. Those are three areas within Seattle where I think there could likely be a warm reception around a JAG III show. You obviously travel to do presentations/shows of your work. Do you think you might make a trek out west to do some possible shows in CA/OR/WA?
ReplyDeleteOn a completely different topic....I believe that Michael Jackson died the same day as Farrah.
I was not allowed to watch Charlie's Angels when I was a kid.
I was not allowed to watch Charlie's Angels with my pants on.
ReplyDeleteI would love to do some shows in your neck of the woods. Unfortunately money is crazy tight. If you could float my the names of some galleries I will contact them and maybe work something out in the future. Thanks man!
